Experts in hospitality and making people happy, this dynamic couple has combined their talents, technical skills and business savvy with equal parts of culinary creativity and flair.

Trevor Gostlin
Executive Chef/Co-Owner

A classically trained chef, Trevor graduated from Dubrulle Culinary Institute and has a long rooted passion for cooking.  During his formative years he extensively travelled abroad throughout Central American and Europe before settling back in Canada studying under European Chefs.  Trevor honed his skills at leading local establishments (The Fairmont Pacific Rim, Global Group Catering, The Beach House in Dundarave, Furry Creek Golf & Country Club, & Cin Cin).

With over 25 years  of experience working in large kitchens as Executive Chef, staffing and executing small to large-scale events, weddings, tournaments and more – Trevor is at home with the high level of pressure that comes with ensuring no detail goes unnoticed: it’s what drives him (well, that and a passion for food!)

When Trevor isn’t in the kitchen or tending to his garden you can find him on the local mountains hiking with his dog Monte, skiing or mountain biking.

Michelle Gostlin      

Co-Owner/Business Development                

The brains behind all aspects of sales and marketing (and SERVED Catering’s savvy co-owner), Michelle has over 25 years of experience working in the hospitality industry. With her sales and marketing education (BCIT) and a career based in both front and back of house within the hospitality industry (Earls Restaurants) as well as experience working in product promotions, branding and sales – Michelle brings an engaging attitude as well as wealth of knowledge and organizational skills to the SERVED Catering team.

A self professed “foodie” it is Michelle’s penchant for travel that has perhaps had the greatest impact on her passion for cuisine (that and the fact that she married a chef after a chance meeting on Gambier Island).

Elena Krasnova 
Pastry Chef

Elena Krasnova was born and raised in Russia. From a young age Elena enjoyed expressing herself through traditional art as she grew up before moving to Canada and settling in Vancouver with her family in her early twenties. Ten years and two degrees later, Elena realized her life passion for pastry and moved to France in order to pursue her true calling as a Pastry Chef. Rising quickly in the ranks, Elena’s creations have been published both in North American and Europe. Our SERVED Catering team is committed to sourcing locally produced and procured items for all of our dishes (where seasonally possible) to create exciting, unique and custom menu offerings for our clients.

We research our suppliers carefully and make every effort to order ingredients and supplies in an accurate a manner so as to reduce our footprint.
